Welcome to Shenstone School
Shenstone School is a special school where we support the learning and development of our 128 pupils. Pupils who attend Shenstone have Education and Health Care plans and have severe and or complex learning difficulties. We are located on two sites, Sidcup (for younger pupils in nursery to Y1) and Crayford (for older pupils from Y2 – Y6), in the London Borough of Bexley.
At Shenstone our overarching goal is to ensure that we have a diverse and differentiated curriculum that provides all of our pupils with memorable experiences that will enrich their lives and support them on their life-long learning journeys. Pupil, family and staff engagement is extremely important to us and we have regular parent forums, open days and fundraising events. We work hard to ensure that Shenstone is a safe, happy, welcoming and truly outstanding place for our pupils to learn. Our school benefits from impressive facilities on both sites, enabling us to offer a wide range of opportunities for learning both inside and outside the classroom.
Our pupils are amazing and the progress that they make on a regular basis is inspiring. Regardless of how small or large the successes are, we are very proud of the children and pleased to be able to be there to contribute to and support their achievements. The values and ethos of "together we engage, thrive and achieve" weaves through all that we do at Shenstone School.
It is indeed an honour and a pleasure to be the Head Teacher of Shenstone and to work with such inspiring children and committed staff team. Our website aims to give you a glimpse into our busy school life, as well as providing regular updated information.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find all of the information that you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have - either by: telephone: 01322 524145 or
